What do you think is the most important skill to learn English?

If you do not know which ones are most important, it can lead to loss of time and money in studying the Spanish language. Consequently, the learning process may be difficult, resulting in a poor understanding of language and inability to communicate fluently in Spanish.
The outcome is that the most important skill to achieve in any language is understanding.
UNDERSTANDING
Think about this for a moment. Imagine that you can only say YES and NO in Spanish, but you know what they say around you. For all intents and purposes, you are still able to communicate effectively with them.
However, if you do not understand what people say to you in Spanish, even though you are competent in grammar or you can read at a high level for them, you just do not know Spanish.
Thus, the question arises as to how quickly and easily you can understand everything in Spanish?
Pareto Principle states that for many events, approximately 80% of the effects of 20% of the cause. With regard to language, we can say that 80% of the understanding is determined 20% of the elements.
Thus, instead of fighting to know that 80% of something is 20% understanding would be much easier, more effective and cheaper to strive for 20% of that will allow for 80% of the understanding.
What is this 20% in Spanish?
The researchers created a list of 1000 most frequently used words in Spanish, and have reached an interesting conclusion:
- The first 25 words from the list, up 1 / 3 of all printed materials and publications in Spanish.
- The first 100 words make up ½ of publications ever printed in Spanish.
- The first 300 words from the list will allow you to understand 65% of the language.
- And finally, the 1000 most frequently used words to help explain about 80% of Spanish!
