In today’s world there is fierce competition when it comes to future work and career growth. Number one means of advance in this race in higher education. Nevertheless, many young prospective students mistakenly throw caution to the wind to experiment with drugs. Drug can get young people much more than cheap and fleeting high.
Illicit drug use can cost these courses at the University of precious time, money, reputation, freedom and opportunity to go to college. When a young man faces drug charge in Virginia, they expect heavy fines, jail time, damaged conviction, and, possibly, loss of financial assistance to attend or remain in college.

They can have their license suspended, and there is potential for imprisonment.
These are just some of the possible consequences that could directly hit the young offender’s drug use. The number of devastating effects that drug possession goes far beyond a simple slap on the wrist in Virginia. These laws in order to ensure that young people abstain from a life of drug use. That’s not to mention the potential criminal activity that may accompany that abuse.
